Yohanna Haile Fseha

I received my BSc. in Civil Engineering in the American University of Sharjah in Spring 2012. My senior year project was focused on the floodplain management of the River Thames in England using the software HEC-RAS. In early 2014, I moved to Melbourne where I worked as an asset engineer in a local city council. Working within road infrastructure maintenance provided me with broad and extensive knowledge of the management and planning of road infrastructure assets.

Currently, I am pursuing a Master’s degree in Water and Environmental Engineering and working as a research assistant in Masdar Institute of Science and Technology, Abu-Dhabi, U.A.E. My work is centered on the interactions between residual ionizable pharmaceuticals in treated wastewater and metal oxides in soil.
